1Table Mountain:
Visit our most famous attraction, with your adventure starting with a 4 minute trip by cable car which offers you an unrivaled 360° view.
2Victoria & Alfred Waterfront:
This lively shopping area is one of Cape Town's biggest attractions with an estimated 20 million visitors each year, with the famous Two Oceans Aquarium with over 3000 living animals situated here.
3Robben Island:
Most famously known as the prison where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned, Robben Island was declared a UN World Heritage Sight in 1999 and is now run as a museum, a poignant reminder to the newly democratic South Africa of the price paid for freedom.Ferries to Robben Island depart from the V&A Waterfront.

7Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens:
Experience this celebration of South African flora with over 22 000 indigenous species, a garden well deserved to be called one of the greatest botanic gardens in the world.
8Bo-Kaap / Cape Malay Quarter:
Bo-Kaap is a brightly colored neighborhood made up mostly of descendants of East Indian slaves brought over by the Dutch. Their influence on Cape Town is seen throughout the city's architecture, food and language.
9Shark Cage Diving:

1MCQP:
Mother City Queer Project (MCQP) is Cape Town's biggest themed gay costume party, with the theme each year being even more ellaborate than the previous year. MCQP is held usually in December.
2Cape Town Pride:
Cape Town Pride celebrates our wonderful diversity, and also helps create awareness around issues impacting on the LGBTI communities in South Africa. Cape Town Gay Pride usually runs from the end of February and is a week of a number of festivals, parties and events.
3Pink Loerie Mardi Gras & Art Festival:
Hosted in the beautiful Garden Route town of Knysna, the Pink Loerie Mardi Gras and Arts Festival is a highlight on the South Africa gay calendar. Normally held in late April, this nearly week-long event is not to be missed.
4De Waterkant & Green Point
(Gay Village):

Our gay trendy nightlife and restaurants are centered around the suburbs of Green Point and De Waterkant in Cape Town, and also called the Gay Village. Here you will find a selection of clubs, shops, bars and accommodation venues catering for the gay community.
