Cape Town specifically has a few gay owned/managed theatres showcasing shows of international standard, and there are also a few clubs who provide drag cabaret theatre. There are however a few other theatre gems situated just outside Cape Town, like Evita se Perron in Darling (a mere hour's drive from Cape Town) which should not be missed.
