Cape Town specifically has a few gay owned/managed theatres showcasing shows of international standard, and there are also a few clubs who provide drag cabaret theatre. There are however a few other theatre gems situated just outside Cape Town, like Evita se Perron in Darling (a mere hour's drive from Cape Town) which should not be missed.

The focus is on weekends, when a variety of shows are presented at lunchtime and in the evening.
